While Ernst, Bernard and I were in Frankfurt
in June of 1990 at the invitation of the city, a reporter from the "Frankfurter
Allgemeine Zeitung", the most influential newspaper in Germany, interviewed Bernard
about his fate during these years. The lengthy interview, 2 columns wide was published on
June 10th, 1990.
During November 1992 Bernard, together with another
survivor, Dorothy Baer, was invited to Frankfurt again to lecture to students and teachers
about the holocaust. The lectures were recorded on video and are available to the teachers
and students from the library.
